INVENTO 001 W/ BAJETGIRAMÉ
In collaboration with Bajet Giramé , INVENTO 001 redefines the concept of the kitchen as a dynamic and modular space. Designed with the renowned Barcelona-based architecture studio, this revolutionary system adapts seamlessly to the needs of contemporary living, offering a unique combination of flexibility, precision, functionality, and timeless aesthetics.
INVENTO 001 takes kitchen design to a new level. It features a lightweight structural frame composed of stainless steel tubes that act as the core of the system and support all its elements. This structure stands out for its uniqueness, simplicity, and elegance, projecting a sense of lightness in every dimension. The metal tensioners, responsible for reinforcing the structure, reflect a philosophy of subtlety and lightness, connecting the vertices to ensure a design that is both solid and refined.

The tubular joints are connected by metal nodes, where the horizontal tubes pass through the robust vertical tubes, creating a distinctive and characteristic element. This node, with its striking design, is assembled using an innovative, weld-free system developed by Invento's engineering team.
The system provides flexibility and adaptability to the structure, allowing it to be adjusted to the user's needs. Furthermore, its easy assembly makes it possible to expand or modify each module as required.
Thanks to technological advancements in manufacturing processes, the tubes are laser-machined with absolute precision, guaranteeing a perfect fit. The absence of welds allows each tube to be treated individually, achieving a uniform, high-quality surface finish on every component.

Not only is the structure innovative, but the drawers in this kitchen also play a fundamental role. The runners have been moved to the bottom of the drawer, instead of the sides, reinforcing the feeling of structural lightness and making the drawers appear to float within the design. Inspired by the art of origami, Bajet Giramé conceived the drawers from a single sheet of stainless steel, molded with folds that evoke the delicacy of paper.

Pau Bajet
Bajet Giramé is a studio that develops architectural projects, urban prototypes, publications, and research, aiming to explore and expand upon the multiplicity of material, social, and ecological relationships present in emerging spatial practices. Maria Giramé and Pau Bajet founded Bajet Giramé in Barcelona in 2017, after collaborating at David Chipperfield Architects in London. The studio functions as a collaborative platform that drives a wide variety of projects with a well-established group of partners, collaborators, and clients. They are currently co-curators of the 2026 International Architecture Congress (UIA 2026 Barcelona).
